Watching the early prelims of UFC196 on SportsDevil tonight. Exchanging texts about the fights with my eldest boy who is at the venue in Vegas. Amazing quality considering my < 2 mbit internet connection and unreal value for money. I am going to buy a fire tv stick for each of my kids, 3 of which live in Belfast and have great quality internet. This is sooooooo good. Really can't believe how good this is. I'll switch to Sky and BT Sports 2 at 1am when the prelims start.

OK will check that Royal Premium plax. Thanks for the recommendations. I am still using the hubwizard configuration.

I think i may go for the fire stick route as well, have looked up a way to install on that,

http://www.redmondpie.com/sideload-inst ... -tutorial/

and I assume once thats done you can just install the addons straight onto the fire stick using Funars guide which i followed for my laptop? :)

Good choice I think Chuckles. Yeah the steps posted earlier will work exactly the same way, but I actually do it slightly differently now and get a lot more add-ons installed in one go, including Exodus and Phoenix :-

Fusion Installer

SYSTEM
File manager
Add source
http://fusion.tvaddons.ag (you need to click <None> to enter this)
name it fusion and hit Done

Install Config Wizard

SYSTEM
Settings
Add-ons
Install from zip file
fusion
start-here
plugin.video.hubwizard-1.2.0.zip is the latest today
wait for enabled message on the bottom right

Run Config Wizard

PROGRAMS
Config Wizard
FIRETV
Yes

Unfortunately the method shown in your link didn't work for me. It is fine right up to the point of clicking on the ARM download. It just did nothing for me or for Plax so we had to sideload using a PC. Pretty easy to do mind you.

Install Kodi on Fire TV Stick

Link for adbFire (press "Begin Download" green button and select mirror)

Link for kodi apk

Link for FireStarter apk

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ThfHmsyjWY

00:16 prepare Fire TV Stick for sideloading
01:18 run adbFire and download the apk's to the Fire
04:41 set up FireStarter
06:10 launch Kodi and install the add-ons
10:28 What you get when you do all the above

I have a box, it's great, may I suggest wookie builds, also wookies lite build should be good for sticks too, I'm running it on my phone as well.

I ran the regular version on my FireTV, it got a bit bogged down due to the lack of power but overall worked good enough.
If you are going to use it a lot though I think a raspberry pi is the way to go.

Did my own first build over the weekend too, a lot of the skins I found dead confusing, too much info for first timer, but the Amber skin was perfect, I've now only got, exodus, phoenix, njm-soccer & operation robocop ☺

I'm still using The Royalist Premium I think that's great for TV & movies, and I like the skin/interface. I'm using my brix box now though (Win 7) so I've got a wired connection. I've given my Fire Stick to Mr Plax and I've put the Beast on it as I think that is much better for sports which is what he likes.
