It's time for E3 again, this year should focus mainly on new games even though MS has new hardware to reveal as well in the for of the Xbox Scorpio. As usual the event takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and it all kicks off on the 13th of June and ends on the 15th but this time the show will also be open to the public. Finally quite a few of the publishers have decided on having their press events even earlier this year so it all actually kicks of with the EA conference on Saturday the 10th.

This thread will be where all the latest news on the event will be posted and I'll try to update this post with the latest info on steams and sites that cover the event.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing NFS in the flesh. First one for a while to peak my interests.

Like the sound of finding a shell of a vehicle in the open world and turning it into a monster racer!!

It pains me to say it, but I thought that was a very good Dirtbox show. They've obviously learned from Sony's shows over the years. Boring tech at the start, announce the new console & then show bucket loads of games. Lots of "launch exclusives" which I take to mean will hit PS eventually. Some great AAA titles on show, & some beautiful indie type games too. Very impressed tbh. Worth a watch but goes on for around 100 minutes!

Assassins Creed Origins looks excellent. Shadow of War looks like a step up from the fantastic Shadow of Mordor. And the new Bioware title Anthem looks incredible too & I can't wait to see more of that!!! :D

Hefty price tag at $499 though...

Some good games from MS.

Not a revolution console wise, but good spec.

Odd that there was no mention of VR at all?

Geoff Kieghly asked MS about VR directly afterwards, & they said "it's possible".

Tells me they're not too bothered about it just now. Just a gimmick IMO anyway.

I was seriously underwhelmed, Anthem was the only game I see myself buying! I have a decent PC now that has many more flops than the X so no point in me buying one. PUBG is a good exclusive to get but it's still early access on PC and has lag/de-sync issues that imo will take more than 6 months to iron out so expect delays (much like DayZ for PS4).
All the big 3rd party games are aligning with PS4 - make sense given how many have sold so expect Destiny 2/COD WW2/Battlefront 2 to feature prominently at Sonys show tonight. Really hoping they spring a surprise and give us Motorstorm remastered!!
