There are some real gems on Playstation Plus but a lot of the goodies are time limited and easily missed if you don't have auto download enabled. So, if you spy an update with a particular freebie, bargain or beta, shout in here and spread the Plus love.

Twitter is good for keeping tracks of the PS+ updates. :)

Right now you can get Lead and Gold for free. Not tried it myself yet.

Also, for 1 day only, this week sometime I think, we can get the brand new Tim Schaefer game called Stacker completely free. :)

Stacking will free on the store on the 9th Feb.

Stacking is a third-person adventure puzzle game that makes players laugh while challenging their perception and intellect.

You keep PS+ stuff so long as you're a subscriber. So I imagine it'd be OK.

Played Lead and Gold the other day. Got 3 trophies in less than 5 mins, and I have no clue how :)

It's kind of like UC2 MP, and whilst the graphics aren't exactly "state of the art", it's still a good little game for whiling away the time. 4 basic character types, and a variety of game modes (both Human v Human & Human vs CPU).

A number of the co-op games are untimed, and dying doesn't do you any damage, so you can play and rank up quite happily without worrying about K/D or anything else. A bit mindless, but a full room of PSL'ers could be a giggle.

Lead and Gold is a nice little game, plays well. I had a few good games on it. Unfortunately it came out only just before Red Dead Redemption, so I think most people hung on and got that instead figuring they'd not need two western titles on the go. There's a review on it in the review section.

Edit: Review here, viewtopic.php?f=318&t=7196

I missed that review, but you summed it up nicely  - When I played we had a full party on co-op, so there are still people playing it, but I'm guessing with it being free on PSN+ that's probably why there are so many online.

And here is IGNs review of Stacking. They seemed to like it & gave it 8.5 overall. Defo worth picking up for free anyway!!
