Drifting?

Postby HR-eddie » 02 Apr 2008 15:05

Anyone here got any tips on drifting?

I know a lot of posts say to turn everything off but with traction set to off i find it really hard to control.

Tried the analogue stick and r2 for accelerating but dont make much dif.

I suppose best bet is get a nice G25 or somthing so you can race properly with the throttle etc.

Any tips with a pad though will be greatly apreciated.

It's gonna take control with pad, a feedback wheel will probably be far superior.

Welcome to the site by thway :D

Cheers for the link.

Thought it was cheaper than that.

Im just thiking that for an extra 60 notes i could get the G25 haha.

Just have to run it past the dragon, bet she says for that money i could buy a dishwasher or summit.

:woot: Mate from work has offered his G25 to me for a week. Should have it tomorrow. Now if I was any good at this game I might be able to write an objective review, but as I suck any comments will have to be taken with a pinch of salt. <insert clever driving emoticon here>

cool

Ill hold our for your comments, its ment to be the dogs balls though.

Hydraulic pressure behind brake so it feels hard like a car but accelerator is soft, base is all metal, nice feel to wheel and either H shift, paddle or quick shift.

All seems to good but its trying to convince the other half me thinks where im gonna have problems.

We all have that problem, believe me. :) I don't use manual gears but I'm going to have to try to make the best use of the G25 while I have it. Pixmania are selling it for about £139.
